Summer Camp Offerings, 2019
SOWING THE SEEDS OF YOGA @ OWEN FARM, a Children's Yoga Summer Camp @ Owen Farm, 580 Brockway Rd, Hopkinton, NH, children ages 6 - 12. www.owenfarm.org
Each day we will spend time on our yoga
mats, learning so much about our minds, bodies and spirit. We will be guided by the principles of yoga
such as practicing peace, being generous and being honest, and learn about
mindfulness. We will walk through the
forested trails, spend time in the gardens, learn about and care for the farm
animals (chickens, cows, pigs, sheep, horses!), swim or wade in the pond,
journal and participate in yoga/farm-themed art activities/projects, such as
making mandalas, prayer flags and felting…all while keeping yoga in mind and
enjoying the natural beauty of this special place!
